Hello. I am new here and hope I am doing this correctly. But I need help with my relationship. We have been together two years and have been through a lot already. But about six to seven months ago I started to notice a change in how often/frequent we were being intimate. I get it we all go through phases where it declines for a bit because of stress, anxiety, whatever, but it slowly dwindled to us completely NOT being intimate at all. So I tried to cautiously bring it to his attention and I knew immediately that it was a sensitive subject and all I got in response was “I do not want to have s**. You have done nothing wrong, it is me. I do not know how else to put it”. And so the discussion was dropped. Well it’s been months since that conversation and we are still no longer being intimate. Because of not having that intimate connection with him I am feeling super insecure with myself and our relationship resulting in disagreements about stupid petty things. Can anyone give any advice on how to deal with this or to better understand the situation? I know he can go see a doctor but I have not brought that idea up to him and do not really want to as it is a sensitive topic with him and I do not want to push him and he push me away. Any help would be greatly appreciated. He is forty two and I am thirty five.

Hi @dapperMango9500

That must be very upsetting and frustrating for you. Anyone in your position would feel insecure too. *sending friendly hugs*

And yeah I kinda get it that suggesting to see a doctor would probably make him feel... ashamed? If yes, that's very thoughtful and sensible of you 💙

What could possibly be the reason? How are you going to make him open up to you without feeling pressured?

I hope you'll find a way out soon 💙
