Firstly what I want to say is that u should always hope for the positive and trust me nothing will go wrong only if u deal everything with utmost patience and understanding . I have been in a ldr too with the most amazing guy I have ever seen and what I learnt that in ldr couples get ample opportunity to build a strong base on trust and understanding because u can't see your loved one often and u have to trust and understand them based on what u feel for each other. One of the most significant part of ldr is communication. To be honest my situation is as same as your girl because I can't talk with my boyfriend too often because of my work and he always understands me and looks into everything with patience . Sometimes I feel so bad that I can't get enough time to spend with each other but whenever we talk we execute that time to share our feelings for each other . What I observed that in ldr couples need to get more understanding and empathetic towards each other than in normal relations couples need to be . No matter how much time u r spending time with each other , reciprocate to her feelings and ask her questions to know what she feels about u . Communication is the key and really your loved one does not feel suffocated if u call her though she is busy . Rather it makes her feel how much u care for her and from your words it seems like that u understand each other a lot and most importantly create a schedule for spending time with each other and try to follow that religiously and if sometimes u two don't become able to maintain the schedule don't get deprived ! In a nutshell u two have to make time for each other a day and even if it's for a short time use that time for letting her know how much u need her. NEVER GIVE UP IN A RELATIONSHIP if u love each other deeply and this is what I learnt from my bf because in the very beginning I also used to feel like u but with your loved one's help u can overcome every problem u face so always share your problems or shortcomings with her and she will understand for sure and let her know about your love and care towards her and she will also tell the same Sorry for such a long message but I wanted to give an honest advice and best wishes for u two

Regarding what you said about wanting to spend time with your partner but her being busy, I wonder if it might be worthwhile to have a chat with her and come to a mutual agreement on when and how often you will communicate. Like, I wonder if based on that discussion, there might be a middle ground that works for you both where you can feel like you're contacting her enough but she also doesn't feel smothered or burdened.
