My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years now. We are 25/26. We have owned our home together for 3 years now and have a growing furry family of 2 dogs/3 cats. We have all the responsibility of a joint bank account, mortgage ect. However he still says that he's not ready to marry me. It's breaking my heart because it's something I want more than anything. I feel like there is a huge gap growing between us. We rarely have a sex life anymore. I keep blaming myself that something I've done is pushing him away. I don't know what to do, what is he falls completely out of love with me?

I mean, what if he's not in love with me anymore but feels trapped with all these responsibilities that they are the only reason he's staying with me. I want to get married and have a intimate relationship fit for our 20s... But if he isn't going to give either of those am I just hurting myself by staying?

I really hate when people tell me this because it’s so hard to hear when you’re going through it, but if he does fall out of love, could it be that y’all aren’t meant to be together? Have you expressed how you feel towards him? Or discussed what’s been bothering you? Communication is everything. Yes, it might bring up an uncomfortable conversation or feelings, but is it worth it to know in the end? I’m sorry that you’re going through this and it’s so hard to feel like you’re on one page and he’s on some other one or that he just changed his mind. But, maybe having a talk could help you figure out where each one is at.

This may not be something I should chime into but a lot of time for guy it not that we stop caring it’s that it like we are sometimes bored like life is standing still and never changing. An sometimes we feel dissatisfied with our self and don’t no what we feel or how we feel about things that go on around us and a lot of time women can mistake if for them having to be a big apart of it and it can lead to men not knowing what they want in their relationship l think you should limit you life styles with each other, like basic everyday thing that don’t have any form of bonding or emotional impact you guy do with each other that only needs one person to do but spend time with each other doing things that show appreciation and doing things that are spontaneous, for your sex life try making him realize mentally the quark and features he loves about you. Keep in mind for your discussion of how you guys feel about each other or where you guys stand, its always good to have an understanding of one another but when talking to each other always think of how you ask and projects your image or your demeanor, another good thing is if answers to questions are being avoided it could mean a lot of time’s he doesn’t know him self so don’t push for the answer right a way because it might make him answer in ways he might not like or you might not like. If he can’t answer it at the moment change the subject but go back to it later in the conversation but in stead of asking make vague suggestions, men are good at convincing them self subconsciously to do things even if they second guess them their self. So before he gets to think about then make suggestions that are beneficial to each other with out showing the compromise you or him will have to take because later his subconscious will convince him it was necessary for the outcome he wants. And remember to always stand firm and never waver don’t make your self seem insecure to him make him want you or like he’s afraid to lose you

Heya! I get it when you feel happy in love but also wanting marriage welp there's no specific answer to what there's gotta be done, neither I lived a day in your shoes or wanna screw things up, but maybe just maybe believing the idea of not getting married while we're not ready is the best choice to take, simple math just like a normal decent relationship when a partner gets in a relationship while he/she isn't ready it most of the time ends up with a break up, marriage is a whole different world, and everyone wishes the best for their kids, maybe giving him some time until he's ready to raise your children in a way that brights up the darkness, and you've been with your partner for a while he loves you the way you are there's nothing that could ever change that, wish you the best ~ much of love <3
