What are the signs of normal jealousy vs. toxic jealousy?

That's a complicated question, Cranberry. I'm no expert, but in my experience... I think normal jealousy is feeling it but not really acting on it, or openly discussing it in a healthy way without blaming the other person for having that feeling. Experiencing jealousy happens to lots of people, but it can be managed. Toxic jealousy, again in my opinion only, happens when others are brought into it and feelings get hurt, or expectations are set that are not agreeable to everyone involved. Toxic jealousy usually continues to happen but without any positive resolution or change. It usually causes ongoing anger or arguments. Jealousy is sometimes based on lack of trust, so that's something to think about. Whether you are feeling jealous, or you are being accused of something because the other person is jealous, the root cause could be related to a trust issue. Both parties need to talk about how you can support one another to feel like there's no reason to feel jealous any more.

In my opinion jelousy is like worrying that the other person is prettier and better and confronting ur parter about it. Toxic jelousy is when they control what u wear/wear u go/ who ur friends w bc it makes them insecure/jelous
