What to do
I have a bit of weird roller coaster of talking to a guy.
We accumulatively have talked for about a month and gone on 1 date, that went really well.
Aftet the date, however, his mental health took a dive and he ended up not speaking to me for a week as neither of us texted one another. He decided that he wanted to get better before starting anything. So we stopped texting for about 3 weeks before I asked how he was. I have dealt with mental health and it is really nice when people ask that and to me he is still a nice guy. He is really respectful to me and generally is just a shy guy, but opens up to me. Anyways from there he jumped right back into what we were doing before. I think it was for a bunch if reason, but mostly because he got a new job and he has more free time.
Now the real issue is my sisters think I am letting myself be taken advantage of. I ask for their advice but I feel judged for being excited about this. It honestly has started to suck the joy out of everything. I question everything rather than enjoying the process. Am I letting myself be taken advantage of?
@unassumingCamp8301 hey two cents here, don't listen to anyone but yourself, or you will make decisions based on what others think and that's not it unless they are truly being helpful and the situation is say toxic or abusive. But if you in your gut you feel ok with it, I mean, I am not sure why you would question it. You have to trust yourself before you can trust someone else. What does your gut tell you? Do you agree with it? Also, if you think abot it rationally, most importantly, try to think about it rationally also. My question is why would you be doubting it after feeling so good about it.
