deading old trauma habits

Deading this trauma of a person saying they will call/show up and do not. It stems from my father's actions and every relationship eye have been in of course it happens. Now that I am in a healthy mind space & body. I know things do happen and we can not always b on the phone. Just letting me know that they are okay/safe calms my anxiety back down to zero. This is a pattern with my partner and since we are long distance it is more annoying. not to hear from them. I did express this to them and it will take time for them to break that habit. Apart of me just wants silence and not to be bothered. The other part wants to hear their voice & just listen to all that has happened. Making it important to heal from this trauma and let them know it is a small trigger that I am slowly getting rid of to properly heal.

*exhales* I do hope this helps anyone on here 🧡🧡

Namaste & Peace

Thank you for sharing your experience and being vulnerable about how past trauma has affected your current relationships. It's understandable that being let down by someone not following through on their word can trigger feelings of anxiety and mistrust. It's good that you have expressed this to your partner and are taking steps towards healing and communicating your needs. Remember to prioritize your own well-being and take time for self-care. Sending you positive energy and wishing you continued healing on your journey ❤️

Yes.. it’s amazing like this, that so often our relationship problems are not always about our partner only; but actually has roots in our own relationship with our parents!

Unfortunately, sometimes the message that speaks to us the loudest and most clearly is not the present, but an echo of the past. Its good that you are making an effort to try and heal your trauma!

Wishing you all the best with your journey!
