Anxiety and Sex
My husband and I been married for 7 years and for as long as I can remember we have not been sexually compatible. Unfortunately the thought of anything sexual gives my anxiety.
I’ve tried talking to him about it and to help me become more comfortable we decided to go on a schedule. The schedule has made me feel a bit more comfortable because I am able to prepare myself but I still get these minor anxiety attacks. I have no idea why I become anxious but my heart starts beating fast, my stomach goes into knots and I become nauseous. He has been understanding but I feel as if he thinks I’m making excuses when state what’s happening.
Recently he has told me that he is now sexually bored. I thought we were doing well, having sex every two days as we scheduled.
I want advice on whether I should try to step more out of my comfort zone to now please him spontaneously rather than frequently. Please note that I don’t have a spontaneous bone in my body.
Any other advice would be appreciated. Whether it’s ways to better my sex life to accommodate my husband, it’s appreciated.
Thank you!

have you sought out therapy.... that is a long time to be anxious ......perhaps he felt in time you would be more comfortable and not suffer from this.....
i am guessing you do not enjoy sex and perhaps have not had a pleasurable outcome. there are therapists that specialize and perhaps you can examine where this started ....schedules while helpful to you take out the intimacy and spontaneity out of relationship.......
it was a BIG disconnect in my life ...........as we could only on certain days in the morning and other conditions etc all for spouse .............i got to the point of HATING even the thought...... because of the all about his schedule philosophy....... talk to him has he have any ideas to put you at ease........ will he be willing to do joint counseling?
Try Tantric sex, practice it
