HELP ASAP
So me and my boyfriend were going to have sex last night, but we thought my mom got home so he freaked out and he got soft. So when he got hard again, apparently the condom dries out when you do that, and the condom broke and he said he wasn't even close to finishing... what do I do?!
@emotionjet1taylor First be calm. There could be a chance of getting pregnant with pre-cum but the chance is slow. If you are extreamly nervus or scared about getting pregnant now go to the doctor today or tomorrow. Planned Parent Hood would work too. Just explain what happened, don't be embarrased doctors have heard it all. They will most likely give you the mornign after pill and with that it helps. Just don't wait to long to go to the doctor if you are worried. The quicker you go to the doctor the less chance of getting pregnant.
I hope everything works out and remember to be calm and other people have been in your position before.
@emotionjet1taylor
You seem very upset, and I understand that the condom breaking was a shock for you. If your boyfriend didn't "finish", then - as Redrose has pointed out - it's very unlikely that any sperm had the chance to get you pregnant (from what I've read, pre-cum shouldn't even contain sperm unless the guy has recently orgasmed and not peed before sex). But yes, if you're still worried then you can talk to an expert (doctor or I don't know what's in your area, Planned Parenthood?) and possibly get the "morning after" pill if they think there's the slightest chance.
Transmission of STI's (sexually transmitted infections) would seem a little more likely, though probably still unlikely (apart from a certain risk for e.g. HPV and HSV that you always have, even when using a condom). To find out about that, you can talk to one of the above mentioned experts and get tested in a few weeks when results are more reliable - that is, if you don't get regular tests already, as is advisable when you're sexually active.
I hope this helped! Feel free to ask if there's anything you're wondering about. Please note that we can't give you definite medical information here, though, that's what the professionals are there for.
@curiosityofnature I've been on a very low dosage of birth control called lo loestrin fe for about 6-7 months maybe. But this Sunday I just got prescribed to a new pill called microgestin 1/20 on Sunday. So I am still unsure if I should be worried.
@emotionjet1taylor you're fine, especially if he wasnt even close to finishing. consult a doctor to get a confimation but i wouldnt worry. especially if you've been on bc anyway.
