How to get over cheating wife
This is my first post, and not really sure what to do but thought maybe someone can relate/give me advice. I'll try to keep it as clean as possible (sorry in advance). I came home from work earlier this week to my wife and another man in my bed. We've been together 10+ years, but had a couple breaks early on in our relationship where she saw other people (I went out, but never really dated). so we tried talking it out but the only thing it really came to is that she's just not "satisfied." We haven't had been intimate in a while, and she broke the news to me that she's never actually had an orgasm with me the ENTIRE time we've been together - that the last time she orgasmed when she was sleeping around during a break. I asked her what I could do, what WE could do and told me "nothing, unless THAT grows." How could someone throw away 10+ years like that? Are people really this shallow? Does THAT really matter? I mean, obviously to her I guess. God, I feel like a fool because when else did this happen over ten+ years? I don't ever wanna have sex again. I don't think I could ever get over this.
@sunnyDay7615 hey there. Firstly, I would just like to say I am so deeply sorry you are going through this. It sound's like your partner has little respect for you as an individual if that was her response after being caught cheating. (Now I am not saying BECAUSE she cheated, because I do believe that humans are an imperfect species and mistakes can happen). However, her response to your emotions speaks volumes. No matter what happens now, you need to ensure that you know your own worth, and physically, you are not in control of those parts of your body. Just speculation here but it sounds like this is a personal problem she has. You said you have been together for 10 years, but the first 9 she had no issues? seems to me like this has much more to do with her lack of ability to stay in something long-term, and less to do with your 'physical' abilities.
Lastly, I will say, as a sexual assault survivor who requires a relationship that may look a lot different from others, there is much, much more to a relationship than sex. And if she is unable to see the areas you could work on in your relationship outside of your physicality to increase your intimacy levels (emotionally and otherwise), and just doesn't want to be in a relationship anymore, then it's best to leave with a clean slate. I am so sorry you're going through this again, and try and believe me when I tell you it is not your fault. xx
