I can not have sex because of the pain

In a sexual act with my fiancé, I suddenly felt pain, as if my muscles were tense and would not allow penetration to happen. I tried again, and the next and last two times we couldn't do anything because it hurt. I want to mention a few things:

1. where I read and who else I asked, they said it was psychic (mine)

2. My fiancé is the kindest man I've ever met, and he didn't hasten me in any way.

3. tightening of the vaginal muscles happened suddenly, without me thinking about anything.

4. The attemps were a few days away.

What should I do? What's the real problem? Can you help me?

@turquoiseTurtle2770 I am so sorry. Maybe talk to a doctor or counselor about? If it is anxiety-based, I would suggest practicing on your own with toys, going slowly, and use a lot of lube. It might be a deeper physical or mental issue though, so see a professional if needed. So sorry you are struggling with this.

Was that the first time you've had sex?

What you are describing sounds very much like vaginismus, which is when your vaginal muscles will become tense when something is inserted inside and cause painful penetration. If it is that, you can get toys of different sizes to insert into yourself and practice with so your muscles don't do that anymore.
