I have no idea when my girlfriend will be ready for sex.

I've been dating my girlfriend for a year now. She might be asexual and says she has no sexual feelings or desires. She says she isn't comfortable or ready being sexual because of herself. She says she doesn't feel ready for the repercussions sex had (idk what she means). I love her very much but I do have sexual feelings and I want to have sex or at least be sexual. She tells me it isn't me but It feels like I'm just not good enough to make her comfortable. I just wish I could be more intimate with her. She has led me to believe she has absolutely no idea when she'll be ready and I don't know what to do besides wait.
