I snooped on my husbands browser history
Yeaaaa I know I shouldnt have. I wish I hadnt. He looks at porn every single day. I had no idea. I feel like I dont know him. Weve been together for 11 years. With time our sex life has become less and less. I know hes a man and its something people do. But just seeing how frequent he uses porn just really shook me. I feel sad. I feel like Im a bad wife. I dont make him happy. I feel like I dont know him. He has this secret ritual everyday that doesnt include me. I wonder how long its be going on. Is it my fault? Its easier to please himself than try to be intimate with me? Im just feeling a little bit shocked and hurt. How can I talk to him about this? I snooped and found out something I wasnt supposed to know.
@Simplebeth
Hi there! First of all let me express how sorry I am to hear about how you felt when you found out. I read everything you wrote and even though I'm not married yet, I belive I can help you with dealing with this situation. However, I don't think it's appropiate (and probably neither do you) to do so, at least in the most helpful and complete way, so if you feel comfortable and are interested please send me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can to better assist you.
Take good care!
@Simplebeth - It's understandable to be feeling really shaken by finding something out that you weren't aware of. But I also think that often porn is not a sign of anything bad or wrong in a relationship, but just something that some people enjoy separately from intimacy with someone else. I know it's not an easy topic to bring up, but it sounds like talking to your husband about it might help you understand more how he sees the porn and what role it plays for him. What do you think would help you to ask him about it?
