Sex Addict, reaching out for help.
I'm a SLAP Addict. My addiction is fead by my level of depression and anxiety. With a wife with severe anxiety and depression issues, and 5 little ones, my levels are usually high, and my temptation to *act out* are thus likewise high quite often. Looking for support to avoid this, and resist it.

Although I am not sure what you mean by Slapp addict I am guessing it has something to do with the sex addiction you mention in your title? I happened just now to be listening to an online interview of a sex therapist, Robert Weiss (https://www.robertweissmsw.com/) and he mentioned this online community for addictions, https://www.intherooms.com/, and that he has a free online Q&A for addicts every Friday at 6 (California time). Maybe you could check it out :)

Yes, it is...the SLAP thing. Maybe it's a term that my wife and I coined. 😁 lol Stands for *Sex, Love/Lust, And Porn.* All of which are what I suffer from.
And thank you. I'll look into it, God willing. Would you be able to be a *Listener* to me, as you seem to be quite helpful already in just passing by my post. I'm new here too...well, new as to trying to get on and utilize it to get help to keep away from acting out.
@JimmyTheRock78 I saw your post and had just finished watching the interview, and thought I shouldn't miss the opportunity to pass on the information! Sure I can be your listener.
