Best friend, boyfriend, bad situation.
so, my best friend(of 3yrs) was been seeing this guy for a couple weeks. this guy, cheated on her with my cousin.. let's just acknowledge this guy is a piece of junk. and we don't get along. this guy leaves my cousin and goes back to my best friend. he says he hates me and basically my best friend has to chose between him and me. she picked him... and now they're broken up and she's heart broken but she basically said she didn't need me and that she had him and i feel betrayed still and idk if i should talk to her or let it go?

Hey there. Thank you for sharing your story with us. I am sorry to hear that this jerk came between you and your best friend. I think you should give it time and then approach your best friend. <3 Definitely don't let it go.

If you feel like you can let it go, however long it takes, I think you should. We all make mistakes and hurt people we care about. She probably feels terrible and might be too ashamed to talk about it.
Give her and yourself some time, but if you think you can forgive her, I hope you can try.
@madie0427 Yes giving it time is a good idea, make sure your best friend knows that she can approach you, but dont do the first step. Let her come to you, she has to to correct her wrongs anyway, you dont owe her :) Be patient.
