Can't gather my feelings

I've been with my fiance for about 7 years, lived together for 5, and have a cat together. When him and I started dating, we use to like similiar music and had some things in common. Now we kind of grew to liking separate things and different subcultures. And always stressed out about keeping a roof over our heads and trying to make a living. We aren't really so intimate anymore because....well.....1. it's always hot and sweaty in the apartment and cuddling doesn't help lol and 2. He sometimes acts kind of childish like he jumps my leg as a joke which I no longer find it cute or funny, just annoying.

I also have a best friend, who I've been friends for over a year now, that I started to develop real feelings for. At first I thought it was attraction, but lately it's been those "what if's thoughts and wondering what life would be like with him rather than my fiance. Him and I have alot more in common than anyone I know. But my red flags are, 1. He's allergic to cats (I'm not giving up my cat) and 2. He relies too much on his parents and 3. His parents DESPISE him meeting people he meets online. But I still have strong feelings for him.

Am I stressing over nothing? Is this normal? I still love my fiance, even though things have gotten stale.

@JulesMira Hi, I'm so sorry this is happening to you. Have you talk with your partner and try to work things out? Maybe that will help? If you still love your partner, then try not to brake his/her heart by getting together with you best friend online. hope this helps

Do you mean breaking my friendship with my best friend?

I've tried talking to my fiance before and we tried going on short little trips that we can afford. But most of the time we just sit at home and watch tv, or he goes on the Xbox and I'm on the computer. And he knows my best friend.

Jules

Sorry for how your feeling

Might be hard to hear but if your having feeling for your best friend, it will drive a wedge between you partner and you, If you want it to work with your partner you need to step away from you best friend for some time,

3rd person comes in to play and when things are tough, its like an easy option to develop feelings, its like there fake as its not real, and i know there not fake dont get me wrong,

try and re visit some of the thing you guys use to do to try and rekindle, Relationships take effort from both party's daily, people get in to routine and forget that, and its easy to do trust me

I'd say talk to your partner about how you feel. That you feel the relationship is stale, but you still love him and you want to make it work if he does.

It doesn't need to be expensive things. Like can always just have a picnic at the park. Create an environment where its the two of you and you have no access to TV and computer and such distractions. And just... be together.
