Cant get over my ex after 9 years

Hello,

I found this app online. I'm just going to jump right into it.

Me and my ex found each other on meet me, a dating app. I was only 15 at the time and he was 19. He was my dream man, curly long hair, heavier set then, bright green eyes, Dominican, freckles, spoke english and Spanish. He seemed so interested in me and I was just down for whatever. We planned to meet at the mall on the weekend, at the end of the night he asked me out and I said yes even though I wasn't even sure I liked him. We ended up dating for 6 or 7 months. I cant even joke how perfect it was. We never fought and every time I would cry or get upset he would pull over or stop what he was doing just to make sure i was alright. And we rarely fought, I swear he was the one. But my family moved 8 hours away and I broke up with him. Fast forward a few years when I was about to turn 19. Out of no where I got married to my husband jon. We've been married going on five years now and I love this man with all my heart but hes just not as caring. My ex and I have talked over the years and we pick up right where we left off every single time. It's insane. I just don't get how I cant get over him. I haven't even seen him in 8 years. I just dont understand how I could possibly still care for him. He has a wife and a baby with his ex. I just dont get it.
