Can you love more than one person?

I am in a happy relationship with my current boyfriend is two years and we are going on our third year together and second year living together. It wasn't until about five months ago when I found myself developing feelings for this other guy. Then I started developing feelings for this girl. I do work with them and we do hang out in our friends groups and one on one but it got to the point where they both, separately, told me they liked me. I told them I liked them back but that it wouldn't ever work because I'm really happy in my current situation and don't want to leave. But it kills be a little bit everytime I hang out with them since. Is it even possible to love more than one person? Or are my feelings actually fading from my current person? It would probably just be easiest to cut those two out of my life, as a whole, right?

I think feelings are developed naturally but loving more than one person is not possible

@snak94,

yes you can. That does not necessarily mean that that implies some sort of romantic relationship. You can feel deeply conected with someone else, on an emotional, mental, intimate level (intimate not as in sexual). Some people call that a spiritual relationship. I am spiritual but I call that b*ll s hit. You just happen to resonate with someone else. And that can be on different levels. You can feel deeply connected to someone because that someone seems to always read your mind. Or you can, without knowing, feel deeply connected to someone because that someone fills an emotional need, and vice versa.

And then there is unconditional love. No demands, no expectations. No obligations. You just show love because you can, because you truly love your true self, your being.

Hey, I think this may be because you’re losing feelings for your current s/o. Is there any distance between you two? Perhaps consider speaking to him about it (it may be hurtful for him but I’d think he should know, but that’s totally up to you!). I guess cutting these two people out of your life will help, but you could still develop feelings for someone else later in the future. I think you should try finding the route of this. Are you looking for long term commitment in your current relationship or are you just happy being content for the moment? I hope this helped :) and please don’t feel like you have to take on board anything I’m saying! Sending you love and happiness xx
