Crushed
My girlfriend was diagnosed with a brain tumor last Monday. We got into a heated argument this past Saturday over me being “selfish”. I didn’t mean to be like that but I didn’t want her away from me in a time of need when all she wanted was space with her mom. I messed up. Now I have only heard from her a handful of times in almost a week and it’s destroying me. She has an appointment tomorrow morning. She left all of her clothes and belongings here as well as her two dogs. I need someone to help me understand if she’s ever gonna come home or not.
I'm sorry this news is so crushing. It sounds like a normal mistake is getting magnified by the circumstances. Unfortunately, I can't tell the future either. However, if I were a betting woman I'd say she might just be taking some time for herself after receiving such news.
