Do guys really get scared and cheat?
I feel really dumb and gullible so not sure. My partner and I met, everything in common, amazing and perfect. His mom decided I was a problem and convinced him I was gonna hurt him. He broke up with me about 100 times and cheated on me. My one stipulation was no other chicks. Finally the last time he told me he met someone and by then I was pregnant unfortunately. He found out a week later and was *** at me. I had a miscarriage and we tried for a baby and have been together two years now but I still struggle to believe he wanted me.
realistically the other two girls were not attractive and he had nothing in common with them at all. But maybe he just was over me coz of his mom and just kept seeing me because he didn’t like seeing me hurt.
he says he was messed up and scared and trying anything he could to stop the crazy but everything made it worse.
how can I tell what’s accurate? I hate hurting like this

It is hard to say off a small paragraph ....... but yes sometimes when people (not just men) get scared or confused about their relationship status or what they want.....especially when others like his mom are providing conflicting opinions etc.
they may hook up with someone ............to try to feel something or think that will help clarify their feelings.......mostly it just messes things up.........
