Good Riddance
I don't know where to put this but I am going to post it here since this is about relationships. In this case, it's a professional one.
I just found out today that my current supervisor, who I have worked for is leaving my place of employment. Sadly, the last several times I have interacted with her, the interactions have been toxic. Without going into details and though she is going through a very rough time, she has been extremely hard to talk to. She's been
1. Condescending
2. Snapping at me
3. Cutting me off
She also did something really bizarre with me this afternoon. First of all, she let us all know that she was not feeling well and was taking a sick day. When I got into work, she emailed me and wanted to check in really quick because it turns out she is leaving. The first part of the conversation she was friendly and then as we started talking she cut me off "Yes you already told me that." Then she reminded me that she is taking a sick day. When I got off her attitude was "Alright thank you" in a very cold tone.
I am thinking to myself, why didn't she wait to talk to me on Wednesday's meeting about this instead of giving me a set of mixed messages? Honestly, if this is how she is going to treat me every time we interact then good riddance.

I totally agree GOOD RIDDANCE! Respect and courtesy is the key to a good relationship whether personally or professionally.
Don't give that person another minute of your valuable time or attention thinking about her underlying motives. Soon, she will be out of your life, thank goodness ❤️
