He doesn’t love me anymore
Hi,
recently my parent of 4 years told me that he has fallen out of love with me due to my clinginess. He said he’s willing to give things another go but he so distant with me. I don’t know how to change things if we don’t speak or see each other (we don’t live together). I need someone to talk to that’s been through something similar I want to fix this, I love this man unconditionally I didn’t realise my love was pushing him away.
sometimes people need space in a relationship and it could be a good thing i’m not saying don’t talk to them at all you definitely should but this has happened to me before with my girlfriend because i was to clingy but a way i fixed it was kinda distant ong myself in a way i would spam text or ask her what she’s doing all the time i tried more of her love language and doing stuff that she loved but being there with her the whole time so you can build that bond up again but overall doing your partners love language is the best thing in my opinion
How did you find out about your girlfriend's love language? When my ex and I was going through difficulties, I tried reaching out to him, but he would just push me away further and the way he express he is upset or feeling down is to ghost me and left me aside
we have this app called love nudge it can tell your partner how much you feel loved and there is also a little quiz on there no find out your and your partners love language and yes sometimes it might be scary but you do have to just be straight up with them and tell them that it hurts your feelings and if he’s telling you stufff about how he’s feeling sometimes there a place to try and help them fix the problem and the other time it can be just listening to them and showing them you understand

ya we managed to work through it about like 2 weeks later we called and we had so much to talk about because we didn’t talk as much inbetween that time period but we talked for hours none stop
I’m kinda going through a similar thing it’s been about a week and we haven’t spoken much, he says he’s willing to give it a second go but how can you try if you’re not speaking. Obviously this stemmed from me being clingy so I’ve taking a step back and letting him speak to me when he wants but he barely reaches out.
His love language is quality time but I don’t think he really wants to see me right now. His other language is physical touch but he says that he feels awkward with me touching him now. I was following a “speak when you’re spoken to” rule but he went nearly 24 hours without reaching out this week so I had to call him bc I started spiralling
sometimes you are going to have to be straight up with him say something along the lines “of if you do really want to give this another try we are both gonna need to put effort in to try and make it work out” but if he seems completely different maybe sad or depressed then just tell him that ur always there for him and that ur proud of him but i feel as if he should rlly just try and do something that he loves with u and it’s okay if they go a day without texting he should just communicate with what’s going on in more detail
