How to deal with someone who has a bestfriend?
I am in a relationship with someone for more than a year now. The two of us have a great relationship. We talk, we laugh, we just click. However most of the time we fight due to her bestfriend - background story. The bestfriend was her first ever ex. Aka first love. From the moment we met this bestfriend have been running errands for her. And no matter what I do to explain to her that it just does not feel right, she keeps on telling me that I just don’t understand her.

That must feel very awkward. It doesn't sound like she is very understanding of how you feel about this friend. That would bother me if I were in your shoes, so I can relate to your feelings. You are the best judge as to if this is something you can work out with her and live with. It sounds like it is really bothering you a lot. Have you asked her why she needs to hold onto this former love? Does she still have feelings for him, and if so is it something you can live with?
