Husband is unemployed / unmotivated

My husband has never had an actual job being employed for someone else. He worked for Uber and he's done a few odd jobs for money. He looks very intense and somewhat intimidating, which makes it difficult for people to want to employ him. He's been on several job interviews lately, but nothing fruitful. Recently he's seemed to stop doing anything toward getting a job. It's making me lose respect for him, and I'm getting quite worried because we have children and I'm not sure we can make rent the upcoming month. I also spend a lot of time cleaning when I get home because even though I work full time, I still go home and try to keep my house together since he doesn't do very much of that. He cooks dinner and takes our children to school. He makes coffee for me. Occasionally I ask him to do things that I can't do because I'm at work (pay bills or negotiate payment plans for bills, try to get rid my my wage garnishment, etc). So far, I haven't heard anything about it. Anytime I ask about these things, he gets upset. I am frustrated and considering asking him to leave, but I can definitely not afford childcare by myself. My son needs an 18+ guardian to sign him in and out of school. I have no relatives near me who can do this. I'm drowning in this. I am spending money we don't have to put my 12 year old daughter in therapy, so I can't afford it for myself.
