Hello my name is Chris Perez i am an 18 year old trans man and i am having trouble in finding myself. I find myself laying in bed wondering if ill ever become something of myself. I have no talent and struggle in school already. I want to set goals for myself but i dont know what my goals really are. Im confused everyone around me has plans and goals and im just here struggling to find my purpose in life. I have a girlfriend and she means the world to me and i feel like i'd be dragging her down with me if i dont figure it out now and i dont want to do that to her. I love her and i'd love to grow old with her but i feel like i'd be to much of a burden for her :( i am way more confident now but i still dont feel like ik my purpose in life and im struggling to even find that purpose. I dont know what to do and im so scared for my future :(

Hi @Chrisperez12,

I understand what you are going through and what you are feeling. It can be really difficult and frustrating to figure out what you want to do in life - especially if others around you seem to have things figured out. I have had similar experiences as well and it toook me a while to decide on what I was owing to do. I think that this is something that we all go through at some point in our lives. Even those who seem to have things sorted now may find themselves in the same situation ten years down the line. Nothing in life is set in stone and it is changing all the time.

Is it possible to embrace this as a time to work on personal growt? Maybe this may shed some insight on what may be your purpose in life.

I encourage you to focus on the things that you enjoy. The best careers come from the things we love doing - it can also ensure your longevity in that area!
