I just need to celebrate!

A little over a month ago I met a girl at a party and we hit it off REALLY well. She's in a little group with my friends in grad school and somehow I didn't notice her until that night? Either way, sparks flew, the chemistry was tangible, and I had her on my arm the whole night.

I'm letting her dictate the pace of things. She's been pretty set in her independence for the past few years, but man it feels pretty cool to be the one that's getting her to maybe change that. We've been taking it slow and keeping things on the down low with the rest of the group. However, I've absolutely enjoyed peeling back the layers, finding out how much we have in common, and how well we fit together! I can definitely say that I am just absolutely sprung for her.

The real cherry on top is that I just had the most amazing weekend with her! We did sushi and indoor rock climbing with my friend group on Friday, movie night with her friend group on Saturday, and a nice little hike (plus some ADORABLE pictures) on Sunday. I had so much fun with her and she really makes me like my favorite song does.

The thing that really has me giggling like an idiot is that even though we're keeping things on the down low, one of our friends remarked that she seems to act differently when I'm around and that I seem to bring out something wonderful in her.

I really like it when things work out!
