My ex girlfriend and I dated for about only 5 months and yes it doesn't seem long but we were really connected. We broke up eventually over 2 months ago because I got too clingy and needy which made her lose feelings.

A few weeks after the break up, she started feeling sad and wanted to talk to me. She told me that she still had feelings for me. We agreed to try again.

At first things were going well. We talked non stop and built a connection again. We weren't together but knew we both had feelings. However, I developed anxiety which worried my friends and her. At the same time, two of our friends began arguing. They were both dating before and the girl still had feelings but still wanted to be best friends. The boy reached out once after knowing about her feelings. He unintentionally gave her false hope. She used this false hope and then started constantly texting him which he didn't like. He was also going through a slight tough time. He was dissapointed with himself . The constant texts then became arguments. We then of course entered to support them when they needed it. The girl constantly texted my ex as they're best friends. Since the situation was getting pretty bad, she felt stressed out and at the same time worried for my anxiety. One night she was really upset and I wanted to talk to her about us. We then had a confusing conversation but I ended up getting "I don't like you anymore.". It's been a few weeks now, Help please

@Jayden04

Hey there, hopefully you are doing well. There's a few things I would like to point out;

My ex girlfriend and I dated for about only 5 months and yes it doesn't seem long but we were really connected. We broke up eventually over 2 months ago because I got too clingy and needy which made her lose feelings. (Hmmm I wonder what caused you to feel this way? and did she tried to athleast soothe you when you felt this way?)

A few weeks after the break up, she started feeling sad and wanted to talk to me. She told me that she still had feelings for me. We agreed to try again. (I do see why you would agree to this really fast since you definetly love her, but its very important to take it very slowly because its important to be skeptical about her intentions since she ended things)

At first things were going well. We talked non stop and built a connection again. We weren't together but knew we both had feelings. However, I developed anxiety which worried my friends and her. (How did you developed this anxiety?) At the same time, two of our friends began arguing. They were both dating before and the girl still had feelings but still wanted to be best friends. The boy reached out once after knowing about her feelings. He unintentionally gave her false hope. She used this false hope and then started constantly texting him which he didn't like. (This is definetly anxiety and wanting this need to connect with him which lead to the constant texting) He was also going through a slight tough time. He was dissapointed with himself . The constant texts then became arguments. (I can tell one side became disconnected and triggered, then this lead the other side to feel the same way, and then it lead to arguments) We then of course entered to support them when they needed it. The girl constantly texted my ex as they're best friends. Since the situation was getting pretty bad, she felt stressed out and at the same time worried for my anxiety. (One thing I'm noticing here is that your ex seems to keep things inside, and then blow up when she can't handle things anymore. She seems to have weak boundaries too because she didn't talk how she felt about the friend, and about your anxiety until she couldn't take it anymore) One night she was really upset and I wanted to talk to her about us. We then had a confusing conversation but I ended up getting "I don't like you anymore.". (Thats not fair on you, and you definetly didn't deserve to hear those words from her) It's been a few weeks now, Help please (I understand you feel anxious and worried, its perfectly understandable since you are unsure of whats going on and theres also uncertainty thats making you feel tons of anxiety, but you deserve to be treated better than this. You have every right to feel the way you do, however it's important to not go after someone who pushed you away)
