Lonely

I lost my best friend since first grade two years ago by her dropping me two by friend drama in middle school. I hate being lonely. It kills me inside feeling like this all the time. I just want friends again irl I just want the hanging-out part again. Going to their houses.

I hate being lonely and crying almost every night… I literally have no one out in the world except my parents. I have one friend from elementary but even he it seems like doesn’t care for me. I hate everything rn.

Hey dear my name is (James Jacob), I noticed we both enjoy [shared interest or hobby], and I thought it’d be great to connect and chat about it!"

First of all, I am extremely sorry that you have been feeling this lonely. It is quite understandable to feel the hurt when you lose someone who had been your best friend since first grade because you had not expected the friendship to end that way. It really seems like you dont just miss a person, instead, you miss having someone to hang out with  and share the everyday moments with. I know crying so often and feeling like you have no one around must be really exhausting for you but i genuinely hope things to get easier for you and that you are able to find those friendships as well as connections again.

Can we talk about what you miss the most about the time you used to spend with your friend?

@AliWriter I can understand what it feels like, I too at some point in my life felt alone and lonely. I'm very sorry to hear this. You don't deserve to go through all this. All the best for your future and hopefully you'll find the right people.

That sounds really painful. Losing someone who has been your best friend for so many years can leave a huge empty space, especially when you are already feeling alone. I can understand why you miss the simple things like hanging out and going to each other’s houses. I am glad you shared this instead of keeping all of those feelings to yourself. I hope things get easier for you and that you are able to find some new friendships and connections

@AliWriter Firstly, I am sorry for your loss of your best friend. It is completely reasonable to feel lonely after the loss of someone so valuable, and none of it is your fault. Being faced with isolation must have felt overwhelming on you and no one would blame you for feeling that way. You don't have to completely carry all of that weight alone. If you ever need someone to listen without judgement or advice, I am here:)
