My boyfriend isn't attracted to me

My boyfriend (formerly best friend) has been fictosexual (attracted solely to fiction) all of his life. I knew it, be when we started dating, he thought he can have sex with me. Now he says that while he still loves me, he has realised he isn't sexually attracted to me. He is very sorry, and I feel bad for both of us.

I'd hate to be single again. I really don't want to end this relationship; if not for this sexual issue, I wouldn't complain about a single thing; he's perfect for me in every other way. At the same time, I don't think I will be happy in a relationship like this; sex is important to me.

Please, guys, I need help figuring it out. I'm not asking for advice; I just want to talk about it and decide whether or not I should stay.
