My heart is broken
I was with my ex for 9 years. We separated and have been co parenting and are actually really good friends. Our relationship was toxic but I believe we’ve grown. We’ve been separated 3 years. He’s always said he will wait for me. A month ago he asked again and I told him we needed to talk so we could start fresh. He started dating someone and it’s killing me. I still love him and I thought we were going to work things out. He claims he doesn’t love her and still loves me. How do I heal my broken heart and move on? It’s sooo hard!

I’m so sorry your relationship ended and that you have been separated for 3 years. Relationships are hard work and it can certainly hurt when an ex we still love enters a relationship with someone else.
