Need advice.

I've had bad relationships over and over again over the past year. Things go SO well the first month, and by the second everything falls apart. I'm begging him for attention and he doesn't want to give me not only more but any.

I feel like I give my all to a relationship and end up destroying it. And then when things are over, I block out the memories and everything, and then keep missing them until someone new comes along.

Is there something wrong with me?

Am I toxic?

Hi, thank you for sharing your story on this forum! I want to say that it sounds like that you are putting your 100% in a relationship but the men that you date does not give you the same percentage back! Hmm...it sounds like that you are dealing with some toxic people that you have welcomed into your life. Does that make you toxic? It can if you allow these men to emotionally exhaust you every time that you encounter them. You are hurting yourself because they are feeding off your power as an independent woman that can stand on her own two feet. It is like you are a battery and they are chargers. If you leave those batteries in the chargers for too long, instead of giving it power for usage, you are draining the power out of it that is needed for certain devices within your home.

Before you start dating any guy, you need to figure out what is missing inside of you. You may be lacking self-love, self-compassion, self-discovery, and self-worth. It can be anything if you do not figure out why these men are not interested in you. You attract the men that are lacking a sort of interest in you because what you are lacking within yourself. A guy wants a woman who is not dependent on him, begging for him to stay in the relationship with you, can do things for herself and for her well-being. You have to give that 100% for yourself before you decide to put forth the effort in a relationship.

You are repeating history because you have not recovered from that part of you that is looking for love. You are searching for it immediately instead of taking the time to being patient and loving yourself first. Figure out within you what it is that you are lacking and then spend the time on your own to have a self-discovery journey. If you continue to look for love, you will not get that the same kind of love back because it will come from terrible places and from men who will take advantage of you.

I hope that this advice helps! I am sorry for such long response!
