Need help
My world is crashing I have no family or friends need an ear and advice on marriage problems anyone able to help me? My wife and I fight all the time she has mental illness and goes from calm to irrational in no time. I try to remain calm and understanding but she pushes me to breaking and frustrates me so much.
Hey @SumBrokeGuy,
I am sorry to hear that. I hope you will find a solution to that. I want to share my story about my previous marriage. Maybe it helps, maybe not. We are here to talk, isn't it?
I was married when I was 23, and my ex-wife at 20. It was nice to be together at first, but then I realized she has several mental illnesses because of her family. They are so different. Their house has full of sadness and fight. This was the reason why she wanted to marry as soon as possible. I was also too young and didn't think enough about marriage. She always wanted to fight with me, and I accepted all fights. It took two years to decide to divorce. I understand now. She doesn't know anything about the relationship without conflict. She just needed understanding and guidance. She is still the same, I think. She doesn't get any therapy or something like that. There is a lot of people who know nothing about relationship or love. They are like children. They need to learn. They are stuck in childhood and need to grow.
But it's not easy when you miss the line.
I understand your stress about that. It's not about you. This will be a general idea, but maybe you must think more about yourself and try to understand your wife more. It's hard to understand women's issues as a man. Many things can cause stress for a woman, and she can reflect to you.
As I said, it's a broad idea about that. It's not possible to know about your relationship. Marriages are complex relations. I would try to go to a marriage therapist with my wife if I was now.
And final words; you are valuable—no need to force any relationship if it's not going well. Do not be afraid to change your life. We are here to walk. It doesn't matter which way you are going. Some will be more fun than others, some will not.
You can write me whenever you want to chat. I will be online at the chat.
Be kind to yourself. We all have our adventures. Sometimes it seems like require to bond to life as one (like marriage) but it's wrong. Lives are separate even in marriage. Especially good marriages have two different adventures. Most of the problems causing that are people trying to bond lives.

Some people have simply not learnt the articulation skills to express disappointment, disagreement, difference of opinion, even anger in anything other than unpleasant arguments or fights. It is not needed to be unpleasant just because you don't agree about something. No matter the emotion or mood, it can find alternate ways to be expressed without causing offense or hurt, especially to a spouse/partner in a relationship of love. It can be frustrating for both parties when the attempt to express something becomes a fight and the actual issue gets muddled and lost in the harshness of communication.
Would she agree to marriage counseling or therapy? This isn't about blaming her for the breakdown in constructive communication, rather it's about finding alternatives as a couple to be able to have those discussions without the fights.
