Planning to get married but....

I'm in a long distance relationship since 8 months. I have visiting him twice and spent some weeks together. He is nice and caring but also short tempered, he didn't kiss me or holding my hand in public, rather walked a bit infront of me. I send him money, guess that's the most stupid and can get people to be with you just for garn. We plan to get married in a couple of months... there are some few things I noticed earlier, like he dont want to show he's with me on facebook, he blocked me from seeing his story once and blocked me on his other whatsapp, which he opened again after I told him. He gets easily irritated at me, specially if I get sad or asking things twice. So I'm obviously very aware... I've noticed lately he didn't post much on fb and noone posted on his, it's a bit strange because he knows alot of people and that was normal before. He have birthday today and I posted something loving on his timeline, I was wondering why noone else have posted there... I checked it out and found out some people did posted congratulations... it looks like he restricted me from seeing it and most likely they don't see mine either, except him. I can't understand the fact that I'm getting restricted by the man I'm going to marry? I just feel this is all wrong? I wonder if im being paranoid or should I relax with it? 😫

@stine1 I'm no expert in relationships but to me at first glance there seem to be plenty of red flags there...

A few weeks together and with all these doubts is not related to paranoia but to me seems very realistic concerns and if you cannot tackle them with him in a manner which is soothing for you or if he refuses to discuss then I think you need to reconsider.

When you mention he walks ahead of you and doesn't hold your hand this could be a religious thing if he us Muslim but otherwise if he seems to not want to show his relationship with you I would find it very disturbing.

Take care. Make sure you protect yourself first and foremost

For your own sake remember marriage is for life! You will regret entering a marriage with someone who is dishonest and not transparent. Secretive behavior like that is indicative of a deceiptful character. I would confront him respectfully and ask why he acts that way. You’ll be surprised how some people can manage double lives. Their true character will show when its too late. Especially the short temperdness is not a sign of a healthy mind or a partner. If you love your wife to be you don’t treat her with disrespect

If they are blocking you on anything related to social media where anyone can see it but you can't there is something wrong. He sounds like he isn't good for you being mean and short tempered but I'm in no place to judge. The restrictions is not only intentional and deliberate but sounds to be completely unwarranted, I'd suggest rethinking your relationship here because you can't marry someone who won't let you see something the general public can. Pkease take time to yourself or with a friend or whoever whatever feels right and think about this because this isnt paranoia

Hey. I am really sorry about what's happening with you and I understand why you would have so many doubts in your mind. Well, all I can say is we never really know what is going on in a person's mind and the reasoning behind it. But in this case, you are about to marry him so I think it is important for you to know what his intentions with you are.

So, I think you should try and find out why he is doing what he is doing, like the Facebook thing, well people don't do that for fun, right? There must be a reason. So if you're about to marry him, I think it's better you find out these things first before walking the aisle.

You have all my best wishes. Take care.
