School Troubles

Anyone have suggestions for dating someone in Law school? My gf is a 1L currently and these past few months since she started have been terrible. I dont mind less time with her, but the time we spend together is not great. She is very snappy, and has a lot of mood swings. I want to be supportive , but I shouldnt have to suffer for 3 years and be an emotional punching bag. Especially after watching her show such admiration and respect for her classmates and law professionals. I dont think its fair.I was going to write out some ground rules for the relationship. Do you think its unfair to give her rules to abide by while shesin school ? Am I not being understanding enough?
