Supporter fatigue
My boyfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for almost two years now and we were friends for a year before that. It started out really well but for the past year he's been having serious problems with his leg because of which he is almost bed ridden and is seeking physiotherapy. I have tried my best to be there for him and cheer him up and listen to his rants and worries. But his negativity feels draining to me lately. I am at an important point of my career and I really need enthusiasm and postivity in my life right now. I love him but I am having serious doubts about my relationship now. I feel like we are in completely different phases of of life. What should I do?

I am sorry to hear about what is happening with your relationship. It sounds like it has been difficult supporting your partner, especially since he is mostly been bedridden due to the issues. I can understand how you would be exhausted and unsure about the future of your relationship with him. How long has he been sick like this? What kind of support system or network do you have around you to help you with your situation? Let us know how we can best support you here.
