Unrequited love

8 months ago I met the love of my life. But i know that all she wants to be is friends. I haven't told her my true feelings for her yet, out of the fear that she might not want to be friends all together. It's really taking a toll on my mental health and my emotions and I just feel like I'm stuck. I know I need to let her know how I feel, but I just can't bear the thought of losing her completely.
