Unsure and feeling lost

Situation is boyfriend for 1.5 years ... Have been through rough times... He cheated and also has been caucaught in lies and doing things that would end most relationships.... Problem is I love him and don't want to be alone. I moved 3 hours away for a job and we broke up about 3.5 weeks after and during that time I met someone online...didn't think anything of it and one day he texted me that he was getting back together with his ex girlfriend... I said ok cool good luck and we didn't speak at all for 4 months...and around that same time my boyfriend and I reconciled as well. We've been together ever since and a few weeks ago the online guy just suddenly messaged me. He said he made a mistake going back to his ex and that she was no good for him and his 1st thought was to contact me and that he never should have stopped talking to me .... We met up twice to talk and he texts me and we seem to get along awesome and have a ton in common ... However I do love my boyfriend and I'm not sure if I feel an attraction to this other guy because my boyfriend is far away and we don't see each other like before or if it's real. There's a lot of things that stand in the way of being happy for my boyfriend and I He has financial struggles, a controlling ex wife who dictates his schedule with his kids and he lives 3.5 hours away and also cannot have anymore children due to vasectomy which is something I've wanted for a while now.I'm confused and lost. And there's more to tell. Help
