What should I do?! Confused
I broke up with my boyfriend a month ago because of trust issues in a heated argument over text. I contacted him two weeks later asking to meet as I wanted closure but I also wanted to try work things out. He agreed and said he didn't want to move on. I went to his a few days later, when I got to his he seemed really angry and I didn't feel comfortable or confident enough to say I wanted him back so I asked him a few questions about our relationship then I left shortly after. The day after I text him being direct saying I wanted us back together, he replied asking why I was "fucking with his head". I told him I'm not playing games and really did want to move on from this. He said he wanted that aswell and said he "needs to know 100% it's what I want aswell" I said it is. After that.... He stood me up three times!! The first two times he made an excuse for why he couldn't make it. I then asked him if he's playing games, he said he wasn't. The third time he didn't say anything. I text and rang him once ... No reply. It's now been three days and no contact. Did he lead me on to hurt my feelings or does he want me to chase him? I'm really confused.
We were very much in love, I don't understand why he did this. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

Based on what you are telling me, the argument escalated to new heights when he was using logic and reason with you, so they are other things that were said that lead to the breakup at first, but on this part you wanted to be heard and understood. The fact he was angry it messed with your comfort and safety because in that moment he didn't have emotional self control and he was not centered there. It was very rude and disrespectful the way he responded your text, that tells me he lost his temper and again didn't have emotional self control. The first two times he stood up was not cool at all, it was rude and disrespectful, the third time he didn't say anything, that tells me his priorities are elsewhere. You messaged him, and he didn't give you his presence and love, the way he ignored you was not nice at all. This person is acting unsure, childish, and on top of that he is ignoring you, don't go out of your way to message him, don't go out of your way to ask him on a date. From now on wait to hear from him, he has a lot of making up to do.
@freshLight64 thank you for your message. I do really feel like this is my fault because I shouldn't have finished with him in the first place and I haven't apologised to him for that but I was going to face to face when I asked to meet up the three times! I'm not going to contact him again now it's clear he wants me to suffer and be hurt. I think he will contact me by I have no idea how he will approach it after he behaved like that :/
