my best friend of three years and i aren’t on the best terms right now. They were going through some stuff mentally and i was there and supported them through it as much as i can. Then they started drifting away from me, whenever i confronted them about it they told me it has to do with their mental health, but i could see it wasn’t just that, i couldn’t see a change in any of their other friendships. At some point they disrespected me, said words that didn’t match their actions. I felt hurt, disappointed and broken. I felt like i was being manipulated so i just left, i don’t know if they are going to try to contact me again, i’m leaving the door opened but i don’t know if i’m ready. Please tell me if i did anything wrong or if they did or what shall i do? i’m so fuvking lost but i’m so hurt too ://

i keep thinking back to how everything went tryna see if i did them wrong, but i don’t see anything.. i tried my best understanding them giving them love and support being there and listening giving the best advice i can think of while i was battling depression and anxiety myself, one more thing, they weren’t there for me the way i was there for them or cared about them and their mental health..:/

I’m sorry you’re facing this challenge of losing your friend. There have been occasions I have lost friends. Sometimes it is because both people did things that made both people at fault for the collapse of the friendship. It also isn’t healthy to assume blame for yourself if you know it isn’t true. If they’re at fault I would kindly address them about it with the intentions of working it out and becoming friends again. If you’re at fault I would apologize and communicate. Communication and compassion are key.

Hey there friend,

I am really sorry that you have to go through that situation with your friends.

I can understand the you are feeling very frustrated and betrayed by your friends whom you trusted whole hearted.

It is normal feeling because of rejection from someone you were connected at some point of your life.

Friendship is the most amazing gift we can get from Life.

But you know what Life is all about moving on to next.

Change is the only constant in our life.

Whatever you have shared it have reflected that your friends were not supportive like you and they chose to break the friendship and move on.

In life Strangers become friends and friends become strangers.

So if they are moving on...you should move on too.

Dont be too hard on yourself.

Just be yourself.

Just love yourself.

Just forgive yourself.

Just take care of yourself.

I wish you best for your future.

And hope you shine like a Star...😊👍💛
