Giving time
Hey so I have this friend that I meet in the hospital and we started dating then we broke up and got back then he left me for another girl. I was really sad I would catch myself crying missing him.
months later he comes back and wants to talk to me as friends and try to give him time to be a man so things can work out between us. My parents don’t want him to talk to me anymore so idk what todo. They don’t let me go out with him anymore. I keep trying to convince them but idk how. What should I do?

I get the picture. Perhaps your parents not be able to let go what he had done to you when you are ready to forgive and maybe see the possibility to give him another chance...
There's a chance that guy may have changed for the better, perhaps this could be a good opportunity for him to prove it. What do you think? What would he do to fix the situation, gain your parents trust and respect again?
He said he’s going to talk to my parents and he’s gonna try to show more actions then words. I told him I just wanted to be friends now and he said okay that’s fine bestfriends.
