This guys at my school asked me out and I accepted but after a few days he wrote that his dad would not allow him to date anyone until he had better grades and he can't really text or anything either

That really sucks but his dad can’t stop you guys from hanging out at school and stuff. You and the guy should talk things out and see if you can still make it work
