Spiritual Warfare?
(tw death) I have this sinking notion that if I read more of my Bible or pray to Jesus more that I'll die sooner.
I think I'm an easy target due to my insecurities and low self esteem. I have no doubt in this world that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that he died on the cross and rose on the third day. Without a doubt....but with my severe trauma and my anxiety, I'm so paranoid of everything even though I know what is true.
I don't know what to do anymore. I feel like it's dangerous to pray.

we understand sounds like the abuse has given you thinking patterns that unhealthy there be christian books on healing from childhood abuse and yes one will have stuff like you dealing with come too way to fight it is by allowing God to walk you through the fears praying even when it hard to pray too also listening to worship music can be very helpful we know it hard been there many times lean into Jesus not run away out of fears
Prayer is how you DEFEAT the enemy…yes our weaknesses do make us a target. And so does our strength. When we are about to make major breakthroughs the enemy tries to attack us…I now see it as a sign I am on the right path! The Bible and prayer are how you defeat the enemy. Do them constantly!

amen yes agree with you as we need to put on the full armer that been given to us can find that in
Ephesians 6:10-18
when fighting spiritual battle we try to remember this part

We live by faith, faith in the word of God... which is the truth and the truth sets us free. Satan doesn´t want us to believe, he comes with our past and focus on what is wrong and tries us to keep in darkness... but those are just lies.
We gotta believe the Word.
