this another writing we did few years ago thought we share this one too hope  it get you  all thinking too 

NEW Year

a new year has started
fresh new start come with the new year
it not going to be forgetting the old year
but within ones mindset it can be a new start
full of being able to do things different 
to set new ways in place 
to draw closer to God each day this year
within that is this fresh start
even things you never done before can beset in place
so thank God for a new year
for a fresh start and anew page to write on
do not forget what important at all
maybe start rethinking that too
what do you spend most of your free  time on
does it honor God
does it  draw you closer to Him
does it build a deeper relationship with Father God
asking questions like the ones here can  help you see what you think important
as what you spend your free time on is what you set as most important in your life
do you  show Christ-like love to others
do you help others as Jesus  did when He walked as a man on earth
the question can go on and on
answers will come not always as you want them to show
but it a new year a new start too
so as you start this new year
what are you planning to do within it
so set the goals in place to make it more a Christ center year
this will bring deeper relationship with Father God
shine shine  the light within you that from Holy Spirit
to show a lost world the only true way to Father God
blessing blessing will fall on you as you do this 
joy of the Lord will take root within you
peace will come that passes all understanding too
but most of all deeper relationship with you Father in heaven
by stormie and paws
