Fear of death is the most prominent fear human beings face. Death is the ultimate illusion. There is NO death.
@BlatantHonesty in one way I agree with you. In Buddhist philosophy the mind is a continuum which means even if it cycles through births and deaths, it goes on.
In another way I disagree with you. From the moment this body we inhabit is born, it begins its definite course to its death.
The danger of believing there is no death is we can easily fall into the misguided belief that we have all kinds of time so we can waste time pursuing things that do not matter. With a recognition that death of the body is definite means we are motivated to use this precious human life to advance and progress in whatever ways we are able to.

It's fine this person ment a lot to you. But it is also sad when he/she left this earth. I have a very fine listener here at 7Cups. He is about 70 years old. He has been working at hospits - the last place to stay before death. Maybe you want to contact him: Spiritriver.

@Helgafy ahh thank you…I use to volunteer in a hospital connecting with patients who were admitted. Death somethin’ I was confronted with a few times. I will look up person you mentioned.

Well friend Blatant. I'm not afraid of dying. I call it to die when my heart stops beating. So my body will become earth and my soul and spirit will go to live with Jesus Christ because He saved me at the cross.

In some how i would say Death is illusion unless u know what life is,
It's a human nature what we love most we get fear of loosing it.
If we love the one who made lives and deaths, we will loose it's fear.
And yet it depends what we believe also.
As im Muslim,
I have no fear of death, and not love of this life.
Its mentioned in one of Hadith,
This worldy Life is like a drop and Hereafter (the life which starts after death) like an ocean.
So it's gives us understanding that this world and it's life is totally temporary.
So why fear for loosing temporary things?
We really are here to prepare for our life after death. And the taste of death and Hereafter lifes condition wether ( *** or Heavens ) are depends on our Conditions of Faith. How we practice (Allah) God's command.

Thank you friend Husna00 for your fine writing all the way from Saudi, I live far up in Norway. You're a Muslim and I am a Christian and we love each other because we are human beings on Gods earth. One thing is different in our believes; in Christianity - if we are not perfect and live up to Gods perfect will (which none of us do) - we have a savior - his name is Jesus Christ. On the cross he bore the punishment for our wrong-doing. If we believe that we stand rightous before God. How great is that. I bless you in the name of the Father (God), the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit.

We Muslims do believe in jesus( peace be upon him) too, but we believe in sequence too,
What God has sent sequencely.
Some examples for ,
First sent Prophet and 1st Human being Adam
God created Him without any Parents.
It's happened with Just The God Divine Word "Kun" " Be! And it is. " and it is happened .
So no any other association comes under this while believing God's Majesty.
And After With Adam God Created Eve, and thn All Heavens incident happened, hope u know as well about how satan (who became satan in jealous with Adam) So He did tricks to makes them eat that tree Fruit.
And thn they ate it , they become ashamed of disobeying God's Command that was "not to eat it".
And then God Sent them to world for test, and through Adam God has choose Many prophets from his Offsprings.
For later Decades, we have example of
Prophets and Humans too like: Abraham, came with scriptures
David came with book Zabur -gospel
Moses came Torah -Psalm
Jesus came with Injeel -bible
And thn last prophet Muhammad ﷺ with Quran.
And by sequencely obeying the God's Order, We aren't allowed to Unbelieve in any of Prophets who sents with God's Clear message. And in old books already mentioned about The upcoming prophecy.
And in last final book of Allah(God) in Quran It's clearly mentioned that Jesus isn't God but a Messenger of God as previous messengers came with books, He us a Son of Marry , she was choosen and The most sacred Lady on Earth. God Created Jesus from her Mother (Marry), the birth of Jesus is as like Adam, But the difference is, God created Adam with No parents and Jesus with One single sacred mother marry , (because God can create anything) .
And It's in Quran that He will come again As a Great Sign of End times. And Now this Time He will come as a Follower of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, He will Guide the World the True Sequence of God's revelations.
And one thing is we muslim believes Jesus isn't killed or died. He is in heaven, bcz God says in Quran,

and for boasting, “We killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” But they neither killed nor crucified him—it was only made to appear so.1 Even those who argue for this ˹crucifixion˺ are in doubt. They have no knowledge whatsoever—only making assumptions. They certainly did not kill him.

Rather, Allah raised him up to Himself. And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.

Every one of the People of the Book will definitely believe in him before his death.1 And on the Day of Judgment Jesus will be a witness against them.

I start with the top of your message. How nice it is you write after you mention Jesus Christ - "peace be upon him". And guess what - that's also what Jesus Christ came to give us - peace. In the New Testament (we Christians call the New Testament what is written after Christ; the Torah - Psalms - Prophets etc. we call the Old Testament. All of it (66 books) we call the Bible.) Here are the words of Jesus Christ in the Bible: John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
You have the Quran to read. And remember - The whole Bible was written long time before the Quran - so Adam, Eve, the snake (Satan), the garden, the apple, Abraham, David, Mary - the mother of Jesus Christ. All of this you learned from the Bible.
You say that Jesus is not God. In the Bible Jesus Christ is also called the Word. The Word - Jesus Christ - became flesh 2000 years ago. John 1 "1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
Well - what the Quran tells about Jesus Christ's death is not right. It's a historical fact - many people saw that. And after 3 days he was risen from the dead, also well historically documented.

@Helgafy And respectfully i wana ask some questions regarding ur beliefs to make clear my mind . U said bible oldest book (i too agree with it, yes it is one of the God's Previous revelations) . So what about other books? What are ur beliefs abt them ?
And what are 66 versions of ur books? Wasn't it only 1 at first? So how Came to 66?
(Sorry plz don't be offend or hurt it's just a sharing knowledge discussion) And if u say so, According to u ur saying they Killed jesus (p.b.u.h) so , if u believe him as a God or Son of God, so how God allowed it to happen? God is must be So Mighty. God Neither die , neither begotten, neither born? It's a creation things not a Universal Creator.
And for ur better understanding, if there's a principal, who sent Teacher in the class , and given Him 1st syllabus , when 1st completed , other teacher sent with another part of it, and so on. Until students reach to Final part of syllabus. With Final sent Teacher.
So what if a student give in exam only 1st syllabus? And rejects all other ?
How it could be pass in final exam , without following all syllabus in sequencely.
And in Quran It's not only about past scriptures repetive Discussion, but we have what's present issues and it's solutions. And The new of Coming future (end times ) or Hereafter life discussion also. A complete book. Sent with Final prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Even Some of Old books followers Admixture it by Change the God's Word and commands, as u can see some Thinks Pork is Habitat and some says no it's Not habitat. I too met some of Catholic Christians, nuns . They told me. By themselves.
