Hi, My name is Kirstan CC. How is your day? I'm Baptist, and I wanted to ask if you're suppose to have faith in your heart or feel faith I your whole body. Also how do I have faith in God.

Sincerely,

K

@helpfulSpring5172 I think I can have faith in my mind about what I consider important principles to live by. I like what what some of the spiritual leaders in the Bible say about having compassion for all. "Love (have compassion for) your neighbor as yourself." To cherish others means we are not caught up in only concerning ourselves with out personal needs but also consider what others need.

By caring for others, we serve the highest calling in our minds and hearts. For example if there are two people and one is repeating all the phrases they hear about religion but not acting on them and another is working every day helping people to suffer less, who is following the spirit of the Bible?

"By your fruit you will know them." This applies to ourselves as well as to others.

Hi,

Fine, thank you. And yours?

The Bible makes us understand that with our heart we believe. So yes, we're to have faith with our heart. This is different from feeling it in our whole body. It's as simple as trusting in God, believing in his word and in his love.

To your second question, the Bible makes us understand that faith comes through the word of God. So we can build our faith by spending more time studying the Bible., listening to sermons or even sharing scriptures with other believers.
