Freedom from the Shadows of Indifference
I grew up in the weight of solitude, where family was a mere presence without engagement, no care, no guidance, no extended hands to help or direct. The world, for me, was an empty space, a place where no one tells you what life means, nor shows you the path you must follow.
This solitude wasn't so much a punishment as it was a chance for freedom. When no one cares about you, when you find no one imposing a course, your existence becomes a single question: "Who am I?" And you begin searching for an answer that isn’t given but is discovered through experience and suffering.
But as time passed, I realized that this formation of existence, which once felt empty, was what ultimately saved me from the constraints imposed from the outside. For, at some point, I became aware that the society that strives to impose its standards on me is nothing but a shadow of its own inability to care. When I began thinking beyond the prescribed frameworks, I encountered resistance that was more than just rejection; it was a wall of threats telling me that rebellion against the laws meant an enemy of life itself.
Now, caught between the boundaries of this space that tries to confine me, I ask: Will I be a part of these molds? Or does freedom lie in breaking them, despite the danger?
I have come to understand that standing against what society enforces isn’t just a passing act, but rather a struggle with existence itself. And freedom, in its essence, is not about escaping boundaries, but understanding and coexisting with them without allowing them to suffocate you.

I'm sorry to read of your neglect. But, how wonderful to read how you took a disadvantage and turned it into an opportunity. The freedom to discover ourselves, our boundaries and our beliefs for ourselves is indeed an opportunity.
