Spiritual Relationship
Disclaimer “Each relationship experience is unique and personal.”
Spiritual relationships are connections to self or soul, to others, to a higher/supreme power, or to nature.
What is Spirituality?
This is a deep topic, one that I have enjoyed looking into and learning about. For starters, it is not just religious, it is personal and deep in meaning. That being said, your spirituality can and will more than likely be different from mine. So goes for the person to your left.
It could be said to be an individual experience within one's self belief that it is greater than self and sensory experience. It involves a cosmic or divine nature, within one’s own understanding.
What does this have to do with Relationship(s)?
Let us paint a picture, Maslow’s Pyramid of Hierarchy of Needs. Link here.
The pyramid of needs start with ‘Physiological’ which are basic needs such as food, water, clothes, etc. and they progress up from there. My perception and idea in explaining the relationship between relations and spiritualness (sic) is, “What does the Pyramid sit on?” It doesn’t float. I like to believe that the Maslow Pyramid resides on Spirituality.
All laws, rules, regulations, cultures, nations, etc have a basis on Spirituality. There are folks whom will state they are not spiritual. Well, It takes a belief in order to state you don’t believe. Therefore, believing in nothing is a belief. There is nothing wrong with that. You are valid for that belief.
So you really haven’t answered the question.
Ok, we got a good foundation of what Spiritual is (or is not) and how it governs and influences everything. All this draws to a conclusion, it has everything to do with relationships.
Humans in a relationship naturally search for meaning and sustainment, sometimes in each other. We naturally also bring mixed feelings and ‘things’ into our interactions. So understanding the reasoning behind our choices, gives us more understanding in ourselves and also our partner. Additionally it provides key understanding in the appreciation of each other. Putting all of this into a perspective, we can allow an expanded understanding of the relationship.
It can be a shared journey.
This seems really deep
It really is. Spirituality is involved in everything. Our choices of food, our choices in governance. Our choices in our relationships. Our choices in our clothing, transportation, and where we live. It is an unconscious decision with a biased impact.
There are those whom state they are not spiritual. That is ok, there is nothing wrong with that. We will not judge and we are not judging. What I am stating is… What you do believe (or not believe in), unconsciously influences your life.
Spirituality is Core.
Always remember your relationship is yours.
How can you use Spiritualness to reduce Relationship Stress and build strong bonds with our Partners?
How important is Spirituality in a relationship to you?
What Does spirituality in a relationship mean to you?
How are you doing?
If you don't wish to talk about what your ideal partner is, it is ok. We can talk about whatever you are comfortable to talk about.

@Barltik2065
I love how insightful and thought-provoking this post is. Still figuring out the spiritual path for myself hehe, this was a great booster to explore more. Thank you for your consistent efforts in bringing such wonderful discussions to the community!
My relationship with God is Everything!
Being spiritual to me means being aware. Act from your heart. Be true self.
You don't need to follow spiritual workshops or leaders or do courses.
Just be. It's simple as that and yes, you have to put effort in it. Being able to confront yourself.
And yes it's OK to be not aware. No one can be aware fulltime, not even close. Being aware of that is awareness too.

DukeofDearHam;
Thank you for sharing. You are Appreciated.
There is some serious deep thinking going on here. WOW, Thank You!
And a powerful statement “Being able to confront yourself.”
Do you feel it is hard to confront yourself?
@Barltik2065,
in itself, no, although it's hard continuously work. The start is hard, continuing becomes easier over time.
The hard part really is tough situations occured. You then have two options, blame it on the world outside you, or look in the mirror and ask yourself what you could do differently in future. What you could do to have a more loving relationship with you.
For various reasons this can be tough, even up to impossible. As it requires to reflect upon past situations, looking back from a high level view as merely an observer, a spectator.
Now if someone has been pretty traumatized, this can be hard, even impossible, as the trauma runs too deep. Trauma therapy as for instance EMDR might help but it could take years. And one can heal but healing doesn't fix or undo.
