Traditional Christianity vs Non-binary & Pansexual
Hello everyone. I hope you are having a decent day.
I'm an old person, 64. I first became a Christian when I was a kid.
I recently discovered that I am non-binary and pansexual. I being like this all my life, but I've only just discovered what it is called and done some research. And yeah I am.
Problem with this is that traditional Christianity this condemns who I am at my essence. I do not know how to reconcile the two. I believe they are irreconcilable and yet I believe the Bible, I believe Jesus is the savior of the world that he is God and that he died to save us.
At the same time, I recognize in me that I am neither male nor female even though I have male anatomy. I've always been like this. I've always had a sensitive feminine side. I've often wished I could dress in a skirt and a blouse. But I've never done so. I've never come out of the closet because I only just discovered the words and the philosophy and understandings of the LGBTQ community. So although I've lived as non-binary all my life, I had no idea what it was until recently.
So now I have a conundrum. I can't throw my religion out. I can't throw me out. What the *** am I going to do? Lord have Mercy.
Thank you for listening.

congratulations on discovering your true nature...
You don't have to worry about what church opinions are if you don't want to.
What matters is your relationship with the Allmighty and focusing on your destiny.. Nobody has a right to decide who you are and what you believe but yourself..🌲

Please throw all religiosity and churchianity out. It is about deep intimate relationship with the person of Jesus Christ. Intimate. More than a marriage between a man and a woman. You get it?
I understand a bit what you mean, but that is not how God made you. See, I was born with a speech impediment and I could say that is God´s will and how he made me to be and I could live like that all my life and nothing would change... but I realized that is not God´s will and how he made me to be and I became born AGAIN to the image of God, as is Jesus Christ, our model and example, that we follow... he shows us who we are made to be. So now I don´t have a speech impediment no more. Because the gospel is the power unto salvation to those who believe. "Salvation" doesn´t mean going to heaven, forgiven of sins... it is more than that. It means being redeemed, healed, made whole and complete, made free, safe and sound.
I hope it answers you a little bit.
God loves you, God loves people who practice homosexuality ... but it is simply wrong and not how God created man to be, and it doesnt bring good to anyone, neither to your own soul. Either you agree with the Word or you don´t. It is your decision. You must decide.

Have you explored different Christian denominations? Many of them still fully affirm the Nicene Creed and hold those core beliefs that you mentioned ("I believe the Bible, I believe Jesus is the savior of the world that he is God and that he died to save us") but have different interpretations on the six or so passages that are typically used to justify anti-LGBTQ+ theology

Religion can see God in a limited way.
Mother Father God is LOVE
God loves non binary people. God loves pansexual people.
Be you! Find loving and accepting people to be yourself around. Dress up, be you, you are male and you embody both the feminine and the masculine. You can use the non binary term if it brings you joy. Why not? Many wonderful people do!
I’ve learned that the only sin is turning away from love.
Turn towards it and embrace who you are. In the right circles, people will see you and accept you. But you also need to do this first and foremost for yourself.
And respectfully, 64 is not old!
