What's your favorite form of prayer?

Hey everyone! I'm curious to know what everyone's favorite form of prayer is?

My favorite is the Rosary which combines vocal prayer and meditation. I usually curl up on my coach with a blanket when I pray it. 😊

@JacintaKatarina,

For me, prayer is recognizing my weakness and need, and turning directly to God with humility and love.

I love repetitive prayer a lot and in addition to the Rosary I also do the Greek Orthodox Jesus Prayer on Orthodox prayer ropes ( komboskini ),  I also do the Divine Mercy daily.

I don't think I've heard of that one! It sounds lovely! Is it said in Greek?

@JacintaKatarina

I sometimes wonder when prayer truly gains meaning—through its form, or through a sincere inner need.

Hmm, that's great thought for pondering. I think I'll pray about it:)

@JacintaKatarina,

This question reminds me of a  Qur’anic account—Surah Al-Mujādilah(The Pleading Woman)—where a woman’s sincere plea was heard by God, and her struggle even gave the chapter its name. It always makes me reflect on how prayer gains meaning when it rises from real need.
