does anyone else feel this way?

So I don't want this to come off the wrong way I guess but like I'm Catholic and there's this boy in my class and recently he started wearing a cross and on some class art projects he would put a cross on them and the thing is as far as I know he isn't Christian or Catholic neither is anyone in his family. I've heard from friends that he was asking his mom for a cross necklace and idk it just rubs me the wrong way cause yk Jesus died on a cross so that good people could get the chance to go to heaven. Also the fact that its almost become a "trend" to wear a cross or a rosary because you think its pretty. In my opinion I just don't think that its cool it's low-key kinda disrespectful. I just needed to get that off my chest anyways have a nice day🤗.
