GUIDE - Switching Accounts
Intro
So a lot of people keep bringing this up so I'm just gonna post this guide to help everyone out. A lot of people have been getting confused on how to switch between your listener and member account, so here's a helpful guide on how to do it.
Steps
1. Make sure you are logged into either your member or listener account.
2. While logged in, go to www.7cups.com/login.php and login to your member/listener account as you normally would. After doing so, you should get this prompt:
3. Next, simply just select the account you wish to stay logged into. After you select an account, you should see this option when you click on your profile icon:
@Vahlok thank you for tagging me! However, I just wanna clarify if this guide is meant for switching accounts or just logging in to either of the accounts? :O Because there's actually a switch button in both app and the site if they just wanna switch anytime c: Also it only works if you have the same email and password for both accounts.
@Erato
Actually, your member and listener account don't need to be linked to the same email for it to work. My accounts aren't linked to the same email and I can switch between them both as I please.
Despite what people say, you don't need the same email linked to both.
@Vahlok exactly :P that's why I'm begging for clarifications if this post about switching is meant for the switch account button or just the general definition of switching accounts XD
@Erato
It's for the switch button. xD
That worked! My accounts have different e-mail addresses, so I never saw a Switch button before.
But it didn't stick when I logged out. After I logged back in, no Switch button. This means it isn't very useful for me.
By the way, the images you posted don't appear for me because they seem to be on your Invision account. The Invision server says "Error 403: Access denied" to anyone who isn't currently logged in at Invision, as far as I can tell.
And the link you posted didn't work out either: www.7cups.com/login.php
Note that you log into one account (it doesn't matter which one) and then, without logging out, log in to the other account.
@RarelyCharlie
The link wasn't supposed to link. :p I intended it as a copy paste for people.
Oh, OK
@Vahlok
@Vahlok
SUPER HELPFUL! Thank you!!
